I was horrified, with all respect I think this book is mentally, psychologically, twisted, there’s no romance, there beaufy almost no feelings to it whatsoever.
This series is all about sex. You must be able to completely give yourself over to the fantasy – leave your inhibitions and women’s empowerment at the door and enjoy.
This isn’t at all what I expected, and while I am not a prude by snne stretch of the imagination, this book was way too intense for me. This slavery is supposed to make these captive “tributes” better, and their tenures are supposed to be temporary. Roquelaure from the French word Roquelaurereferring to a cloak worn by men in the 18th-century Europe.
They are made to live and work as ponies, pulling all sorts of carts and drawing plows in the fields during the daytime, and having homosexual orgies with other human ponies at night. If you’re not open to freeing your mind or opening it a bit to other possibilities, by all means, refrain from reading at all, and just go to your farm. The Anne Rice Boo I loved how creative and imaginative roquelxure stories were lseeping well as unbelievably rough, raunchy, and sizzling hot.
They seem so busy investing their treasury in things like gold ben-wa balls, bejeweled fisting gloves, and silver paddles that I can’t see them investing in things like a militia, so what’s to stop one of those neighboring kingdoms from being all, “Hey, no, you know what? My nature is to finish out of curiosity If they ever lose their erections, the “ponys” are severly whipped, but they must never try to alleviate their boners by brushing beauyy one another.
There were voices that said it’s vile and horrible. Otherwise – stay away. Xleeping my usually high tolerance for kinky stories, I struggled through this book, with my teeth clenched sleepjng my fists balled in anger. If you’re not even curious about it, refrain from reading and reviewing this book.
It is on a whole other level. He was holding her up as he did this, to gather her mouth to him, and as he neauty through her innocence, he opened her mouth with his tongue and pinched her breast sharply. Not when you LIVE the role constantly.

Want to Read saving…. I have currently read the first one of these. Yet there is a beauty in the whole process of becoming less in order to sleepinv more that is enticing and even healthy -in the long run- for the soul.
And this is a wonderful thing. And why shouldn’t they be able to go home from the courtroom, the university, or the office and kick back and “pretend” they’re being swept away to the Queen’s sadomasochistic kingdom where all the fairy-tale court will watch them being ravaged by the handsome Prince?
She has a right to make him as tall as she wants and as strong as he wants. I understood that it would be more risque than her other books, including Exit to Eden but I was cool with that. Sex plays a major roll in life too.

Or perhaps I have not had a relationship with that kind of flavor to it since the 80’s so I associate such attitudes with a time long long ago? I know it is supposed to take place in medieval times – but the way the story is told always reflects the time the book is written in – and this book is permeated with the era of Romancing the Stone and flipped up collars.
The dregrees of torture range from slapping the buttocks to public gang bangs.
