During his press tour for this book, I sensed Agassi had somewhat of an epiphany about autobiogradia life, but I really did not find it in these pages. I’m still very glad to have read this, Andre’s story. Certainly a reluctant and uncomfortable hero, but a hero none -the-less.

So far I am gripped, at 50 or so pages in, by Andre’s brutal honesty and unflinching candor. When Agassi won, the man was a picturesque, charismatic star with the potential to revolutionize tennis for good. It’s almost as if he’s looking at himself along with us as he speaks about his views and thoughts on his storied career and life, personally and professionally.
